This Privacy Policy explains how Primooo Global Ltd, trading as Gozolt (“Gozolt”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our taxi booking platform (the “Platform”). We are a company registered in Malta under company number C112223, with our registered office at 270 Triq il-Karmnu, Luqa, LQA 1311, Malta. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy under Maltese data protection laws and applicable regulations, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By using the Platform to book taxi services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update this policy by posting changes here, and your continued use indicates acceptance of those changes.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the personal information necessary to provide and improve our taxi booking services:
- Personal Details: Full name, email address and phone number provided when you create an account or book a ride.
- Payment Information: Payment transactions are processed securely by trusted third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- Booking Information: Pick-up and drop-off locations, dates, times, and special requests (e.g., child seats, accessibility needs).
- Usage Data: Information about how you use the Platform, such as pages visited, search queries, and booking history, collected via cookies or similar technologies (see Section 7).
- Communication Data: Details from your interactions with us, such as emails, support requests, or calls to our Customer Support Centre.
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system to ensure Platform functionality and security.
- Crash Logs: We collect crash logs to help monitor app performance, diagnose issues, and improve app stability. This data is sent to Firebase and is required for proper app maintenance.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health or biometric data) unless required for specific accommodations (e.g., accessibility requests) and only with your explicit consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process Bookings: Facilitate taxi bookings, confirm availability with Providers (independent taxi drivers or companies), and send booking confirmations.
- Provide Support: Respond to your inquiries, handle complaints, and resolve disputes.
- Manage Payments: Process payments securely, including our Platform fee and payments to Providers.
- Improve Services: Analyze usage data to enhance the Platform’s functionality and user experience.This includes analyzing crash logs collected via Firebase to monitor performance and maintain app stability
- Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or misuse of the Platform.
- Comply with Laws: Meet legal and regulatory obligations, such as tax reporting or responding to legal requests.
We process your data based on:
- Your consent (e.g., for special requests or marketing).
- The necessity to fulfil our contract with you (e.g., for bookings).
- Legal obligations (e.g., tax compliance).
- Our legitimate interests (e.g., improving services, ensuring security), where these do not override your rights.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only when necessary:
- With Providers: We share your name, contact details, and booking information with the Provider to fulfill your ride request. Providers are independent and responsible for their own data handling, as outlined in their terms.
- With Service Providers: We use trusted third parties (e.g., payment processors, IT providers) to support Platform operations. These parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- For Legal Reasons: We may share data if required by law, such as in response to court orders or regulatory requests.
- Business Transfers: If Gozolt is involved in a merger or sale, your data may be transferred to the new entity, with your privacy rights preserved.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: Payment details and sensitive information are encrypted during transmission and storage.
- Access Controls: Only authorized personnel can access your data, and they are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Secure Systems: We use industry-standard security practices to protect the Platform.
Despite these efforts, no system is completely secure. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We will notify users and regulators of breaches as required by law.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary:
- Booking Data: Retained for the duration of your booking and up to 7 years to comply with tax and legal requirements.
- Account Data: Kept while your account is active and for 12 months after inactivity, unless you request deletion.
- Usage Data: Anonymized or deleted after 24 months, unless needed for legal purposes.
After these periods, we securely delete or anonymize your data, unless required by law to retain it longer.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Ensure Platform functionality (e.g., maintaining your session).
- Analyze usage to improve services.
- Personalize your experience (e.g., remembering preferences).
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Essential cookies required for Platform operation cannot be disabled.
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR and Maltese law, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correct: Update inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restrict: Limit how we process your data in certain cases.
- Object: Object to processing based on our legitimate interests (e.g., marketing).
- Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent for processing where applicable (e.g., marketing).

If you believe we have not complied with data protection laws, you may lodge a complaint with the Malta Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner or your local data protection authority.
9. International Data Transfers
As a Malta-based company, we process data primarily in the EU. If we transfer data outside the EU (e.g., to Providers in non-EU countries), we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data in line with GDPR requirements.
10. Third-Party Links
The Platform may include links to external websites (e.g., Provider websites). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us to have it deleted.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here, and significant changes will be notified via email or the Platform. Save a copy of this policy when you book.
